1. Press "On" (at the end of the pirate's sword)

2. Press one of the 3 “X” buttons on the map, this is where you are looking for the treasure

3. Wait to see if you have been lucky

• If a crown “ ” flashes above the X you chose you have found one treasure.
• If a ship “ ” flashes you did not find treasure, but you did not get caught by pirates.
• If a skull and cross-bones “ ” flashes you have been caught by pirates and lose a life.

4. You can see how well you are doing at any time, the “Lives” window on the front of the card shows how many lives you have left. The “Treasures” window shows how many treasures you have found.

5. Keep playing, how long can your luck last against the pirates? At the end of the game the card will show how much you have won.
